Episode 22: We Are Family: Now Get Me Some Water!
We start of with Miley practicing the song “I’ve got Nerve” for the teen music awards that Hannah will be appearing on. But in the backround we hear police car sirens, squeeling pigs, and other strange noises. The camera pans over to Jackson playing some car game on the tv. Miley yells at Jackson and asks if he minds, and he says no that she’s not bothering her. She then asks Jackson why he’s not out driving his real car around, and he replies you need real money for that. Also that Rico doesn’t pay him that kind of money. Miley questions why he hasn’t asked Rico for a raise. As he answeres as a confused hillbilly, saying why hadn’t he thought of that. Then he finished with that he already did, and Rico wouldn’t give it to him.
Miley then gets the idea and goes down to the beach with Lilly to talk to Rico. We come to the beach where Rico is doing the tango with a broom as Lilly and Miley look on confused. As he finishes Miley goes up to him trying to charm him, as he is wise to all this he asks what she wants. But before she can finish all she wants to say he refuses to give Jackson a raise. She tries to plead with him, and Rico tells her if she is his dance partner for his competiition he’ll give Jackson the raise. But Miley refuses to be his partner. She looses her temper and picks him up and threatens him to give Jackson a raise. But he does the complete oposite, and he fires Jackson instead.
Miley heads back home dissapointed as she runs into Jackson on his way out to work. She asks him where he’s going, and he replies he was going to go to Jessica Alba’s for a movie and kettle corn, but that he has to work. Then Miley tries to convince him he’s too good for Rico’s and that he should just quit. This makes Jackson suspicious, and he asks what she did.
They then go to the beach to talk some sense into Rico. Rico is being very unresonable and Jackson gets mad and picks him up trying to threaten him. Rico doesn’t like this of course and his decision stands. Besides he’s already hired a professional that’s already bringing in tons of business, and it turns out to be Oliver. So Miley tries again asking Rico if he still needs a dance partner. But he’s already found one, Carmen, an older woman, so now Miley has no more ideas.
Jackson and Miley come home arguing and Robbie is playing Jackson’s game and thinks he’s being yelled at for it. He then realises the kids are fighting and asks what’s happening. Jackson informs him he’s been fired, and Robbie reply’s, “Oh, no, Jackson what’d you do?” Where he blames it on Robbie for having Miley who opened her big mouth. Miley apologises more, but Jackson won’t have it. He’d rather have a job, and without thinking Miley offers him a job as Hannah’s assistant or head of assisticating. He of course readily accepts the position. Miley tries to con Robbie into going up to Jackson and telling him he’s fired. But he won’t have it, he tells Miley if she wants to be an adult she has to do it. She acts like she’s going to do it, but decides to try her father once more. But it’s a no go, so she’s going to give it a try with Jackson as her assistant.
We come in on Hannah/Miley and Lola/Lilly getting ready for a cd signing. Their waiting impatiently for Jackson and the limo that’s supposed to bring them there. While waiting Lola is trying to convince Hannah that it’s a bad idea that she hired Jackson, but she really wants to give him a chance. As he comes downstairs he’s telling the limo company that Hannah won’t be using them ever again. Hannah of course wants to know what happened. Jackson tells them that the limo company told him he needed a reservation, but he didn’t think that possible. Since the company was named “Ready whenever you are” limo company he thought you didn’t need one.
So Jackson tells them he has an idea, and that it’ll be like riding in the back of a limo. So to sit back and close her eyes, it’s like the real thing. But we tune back in to Jackson apologising for the sunroof. We finally see why as Hannah and Lola enter. Their hair is standing straight up, and Lola points out Hannah has something in her teeth.
